  Do you have any phobias?

  do you have any phobias jw related or not?

  i personally don't have much except having to go through very narrow spaces where i can barely fit in that freaks me out and i also fear very hot weather like over 38 degrees celsius as if it will give me a heat stroke.

  When God is not there anymore

  do you remember, or do you do this ........talk to god, ask god for things, thank god for things and get angry at god?.

  when i remove this mysterious, allusive god out of my mind and not rely on god, i have to go within myself for answers and think about things logically and not put off feelings to him and feel them within myself and deal with it on a whole different set of laws and bounderies and rules within myself.

  does this make sense to anyone?.

  Let's just get something straight about 1975.

  nobody ever said that the end was coming in 1975.. all the hype about this date that has continued all the way down through today came from a talk in the early 70's by fred franz.

  in this talk, franz pointed out the significance of the 7 creative days and how they correspond with 1,000-year time intervals.. he then said, "could the end come in 1975?

  there's so much wrong with jehovah's witnesses from their rigid legalism to their faux love, but let's call a spade a spade about the 1975 thing..

  If the WTS closed shop, who'd get the money?

  i don't really understand who really are the beneficial owners of the watchtower society and all its assets.. so i pose this question: if the watchtower society closed down tomorrow and all the assets were sold off, who would get the billions of dollars?

  the wts shareholders??

  or are there jw companies which are "owed" huge amounts by the society, and so all the cash would simply go to these "companies" to pay off the "debt"?.

  i was thinking last night that the wts is acting suspicious like.

  remenber the letter a few months ago to have emergency supplies ready and contact numbers ect.

  then the end of religion tract, then the km on blood.

  Why are elders so serious?

  all that they do, they seem so stiff and serious.

  often i will see elders still dressed in a suit hours before or after a meeting.

  i'll see other elders cars parked in front of an elders home, and they are in a meeting discussing something serious.. can't these guys relax a bit and get a life out of the borg?.

  this will probably apply to few here, but to me it'll always be that way.

  it's the what if syndrome maybe, but it's always there.

  i still think that as a core belief system the jw's have it right, even if their delivery isn't always right.

  the following letter was from brother morton edgar to brother frank l. parsons of portland oregon.. it and other letters may be found on this webpage, http://www.heraldmag.org/olb/contents/treatises/edgar%20parsons%20letters.htm.

  morton edgar was a bible student and student of the great pyramid, having written several books upon the subject.. in this letter one can read that he was more than a little upset with judge rutherford for discarding the significance of the great pyramid, and morton gives the real reason as to why rutherford got rid of the "witness of the pyramid".. --vm44.
